First, measure the size of your wall. Now, if your wall is 8 feet high X 10 feet wide, then its [Total Wall Area] = 80 square feet.

Custom-printed wallpapers are manufactured using a process called digital printing.
This is a modern printing technique that utilises an industrial-sized wide-format printing machine to reproduce your designs (or artwork) on a large roll of vinyl media with an adhesive layer on its back side.
This inkjet printing machine reproduces your images at an extremely high resolution and in vibrant colours, so that every fine detail of your designs is brought out in full clarity.
For the laminated wallpaper variant, we also push the print through a hydraulic laminating press and coat it with a protective layer of plastic film on top.
This layer protects the print from dust, water, scratches, and everyday wear and tear. The finished wallpaper prints are delivered in a roll form with a sticker back.
And you simply peel off the sticker and stick it to your wall. The adhesive is strong enough to hold the print in place.
For large-sized walls, the job is executed in tiles, and we will talk about tiled prints in the subsequent paragraph.
A customised wallpaper is never printed in one piece but rather in smaller, manageable tiles of 3, 4 or 5 feet in width. This is because no one can paste a continuous print that is eight to ten feet in size. Let alone covering walls 100s of feet in length.
So, to cover large walls, we first tile the job. Wallpaper tiling is the process of breaking down the overall print into individual tiles or sections. These tiles are joined together at the time of application to create a single, continuous image.
Tiling is typically done in design software such as CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator.
Tiling enables Orchid Digitals to deliver customised wallpaper prints of humongous sizes without any limit to the area these prints can cover.
For example, if the wall is twelve feet wide and ten feet high, the print is divided into three vertical sections, each measuring 4 x 10 feet. These wall vinyl prints are later strategically pasted side by side to give you the look of a continuous, one-piece image.
Tiled printing is an excellent method for creating large-scale prints without compromising quality.
Before installing a wall print make sure your wall has a smooth and even coat of paint.
Also, ensure that this paint is not water-based. Opt for an oil-based paint like Royal Touch, Lustre Coat or a simple oil paint instead. This will ensure a smooth and even finish for your wallpaper branding job.
A wall with paint that is peeling off will not work. Smoothen the wall with a fresh coat of paint before installing your wall vinyl for a smooth and even finish
f you need to brand an outdoor concrete wall, make sure that it does not have a textured or stucco finish
Please smooth this wall with an even coat of paint and opt for an exterior-grade weatherproof wall vinyl that can withstand harsh weather, rain, and sunlight.
Once the tiled print and the finished/smooth surface is ready, it is now time to paste the job on the wall.
Pasting a printed wallpaper is not very difficult. First, you spray a little soapy water on the wall. Next, you peel one edge of the print and gently start pasting it. Start from the top edge of the wall and work your way down gradually.
Use a squeegee to smooth the print in place. The squeegee works out any unseemly bubbles from beneath the print surface. And the soap water allows for repositioning and adjusting the print before the glue dries up.

The main characteristic of a glass film print is the amount of visibility and light it allows to pass through.
Based on your requirements for privacy, you can opt for an opaque film print that will fully cover a panel to protect your privacy. Alternatively, a transparent glass film print showcases your artwork while allowing customers to see through the partition simultaneously.
As the name suggests, frosted films lend a smoked, sand-blasted effect to your glass partitions. These films look extremely rich and classy.
Frost films are translucent. You cannot make out what is happening on the other side of the glass partition. But while maintaining this privacy, Frost Film Prints also allow natural light to pass through.
One-way vision mesh film converts a glass partition into a privacy panel.
People standing outside can only see the branding or design printed on the film. People behind the glass partition, on the other hand, can see through the glass pane.
White inks lend a classy look to dark, tinted glass panels. They also have a unique ability to make a panel both partially transparent and partly opaque.
You need a smooth surfaced wall. The paint on top has to be water insoluble. Eg. Oil paints work best.
There is a very strong glue on the backs of our wall vinyls. This is especially true of branded media like Avery™ and 3M™.
But if the paint is ‘kaccha’ or flaking, or if the wall has a rough surface, the end result will be uneven.
For best results, please ensure that your wall has a smooth finish and a top coat of luster paint or oil-paint. Water-based paints will NOT work.
Our product is a wall vinyl. It comes with a sticker back. We do not stock the non-adhesive variant.
Our client can paste the wall prints themselves or hire a wallpaper guy to do the pasting. And for our Pune based clients, we have a we have a team of pasters who can come and install the print on-site.
Peeling the walll print off can damage the paint beneath.
We can work with a variety of file formats. Do share your job as a .jpg, .pdf, .png, Corel Draw for EPS file.
Also, do make sure that the file has a sufficiently high resolution. While our machines have the capability to reproduce images of stunning quality, a high input resolution of your file will make a difference.
As a general rule of thumb, the higher the resolution of the input file, the better the end result and the greater the print quality.
Do try to set your job at 300 DPI on actual size (dimensions). And if the file becomes to heavy, aim for 100 – 150 DPI on actual size (dimensions).
We use branded media from reputed companies like Avery™, 3M™, Onix™, Wyte™, etc. These films have extremely strong adhesion and do not peel of easily. Moreover, the prints on top are reproduced at extremely high resolutions. Finally, our prints have a protective top coat of lamination.

This layer of lamination makes the wall prints impervious to water, oil stains, dust, scratches, and everyday wear and tear. And this property in turn ensures a very long life for your custom wall print.
The minimum size of print we can process is 8 feet X 4 feet. For sizes smaller than this the billing amount still remains the same as that of size 8 feet X 4 feet.
We are pretty fast! And most jobs are processed in 1-2 days (not counting weekends and holidays). You also need to budget for extra time if the material is being couriered to you.
An estimated date of arrival will be conveyed to you once we mail across the Estimate (see next point).

Yes, you can install wall vinyl prints on your own. However, there are three things that you must be aware of:
1. Make sure that the base surface is clean and smooth.
2. If you have recieved your wallpaper job in multiple tiles, check to see if there is an overlap at the edges of the individual tiles. The overlap margin (generally 0.5 inches thick) allows for easy repositioning of the print on uneven walls.
3. Spray a film of water on the surface where the job has to be pasted, and also on the adhesive back of the vinyl. This helps to reduce the initial strength of the glue and makes repositioning of the print easy.
After this initial prep, you can start pasting the wallpaper as follows:
1. Gently peel and start pasting vinyl starting from one corner.
2. Use a squeegee or handkerchief to smoothen the print on the surface.
3. Workout all the air bubbles and also the water to create a form bond between the adhesive and the surface beneath.
4. For multiple tiled prints, repeat the above process working from left to right. Cover the overlap margin of the proceeding tile.
Finally,
1. Use a pin to puncture any bubble that may have remained.
2. Leave the print to dry out for a few hours. The glue will now form a strong bond with the substrate beneath.
If the wall poster is small then installing the same is pretty easy. But pasting a huge wallpaper print is slightly more difficult. Follow the above steps and you should be fine.
