Custom Frosted Glass Film Prints: The Ultimate Solution for Corporate Branding & Privacy in India Are you looking to maximize your office space’s visual impact while maintaining essential workplace privacy? Our Frosted Glass Film Prints offer the perfect dual-purpose solution for modern Indian offices. Transform the unused "glass real estate" of your partitions and windows into a dynamic branding canvas. The old adage, ‘Dikhta hai toh bikta hai’ (What is seen, is sold), applies perfectly here. Use this medium to make your brand visible and influential, securing your workspace simultaneously. Just send us your custom design, and we will print it onto a self-adhesive frosted film that elegantly upgrades your interiors.

Key Benefits: Why Choose Frosted Vinyl for Your Office Partitions

Our custom-printed frosted films are highly effective for three primary reasons:
  • Elevate Your Interior Branding and Decor: Showcase company logos, motivational quotes, mission statements, or high-resolution product images directly on your glass surfaces. The sophisticated, smoky, matte texture of the film delivers a high-end, personalised aesthetic that instantly elevates your office environment.
  • Ensure Essential Privacy Protection: Unlike fully transparent films, our frosted media is translucent and provides a visual barrier (approximately 50% opacity) that effectively obscures the view into your cabins and meeting rooms. This allows you to work undisturbed and shields specific areas from outside activity.
  • Preserve Natural Light: Crucially, this privacy does not come at the expense of brightness. The film’s translucence allows soft, diffused natural light to filter through, ensuring your work area remains naturally illuminated and bright.

Superior Quality & Print Options from Orchid Digitals

At Orchid Digitals, we specialize in large-format printing and are dedicated to delivering prints that last for years. We use industrial-grade, wide-format inkjet printers to produce your graphics at very high resolution with vivid colours.

Choose Your Film Variant:

We offer two robust options for your signage and branding needs:
  • Regular Frosted Film Print: Our entry-level option uses high-quality frosted vinyl from trusted brands such as Gem™, Sona™, or Wyte™. This is our most cost-effective solution, well-suited for common use cases.
  • Laminated Frosted Film Print: For ultimate durability and long-term projects, we recommend adding a protective top coat of lamination (a plastic film) over the printed image. Applied using a hydraulic laminator, this protective barrier significantly extends the print's longevity by shielding the ink from dust, water, scratches, and everyday wear and tear. This option is highly recommended for prints exposed to external elements like sun or rain.

Exclusive Double Strike Printing for Unmatched Vibrancy:

Frosted films allow light to pass through, which can make standard single-pass prints appear dull or faded when viewed front-on. To combat this, Orchid Digitals exclusively offers Double Strike Printing (also known as Overprinting), setting us apart from competitors. This process involves the printer's head passing twice over the same area, depositing an extra layer of high-quality ink. The result is a remarkably vibrant, slightly oversaturated image that resists fading and remains perfectly visible once installed on glass.

Branded Inks and Media Guarantee:

We exclusively use high-quality, branded Mimaki eco-solvent or UV inks, an industry leader that delivers stunning visuals that last for years without fading. We also stock media rolls in three, four, and five-foot widths to reproduce large-sized graphics, with the capability to tile prints for jobs wider than five feet. For projects requiring even higher-end international media, we can arrange vinyl from premium brands such as 3M™ or Avery™.

Applications: Where to Install Your Frosted Film Prints

Frosted films are a versatile branding tool for glass panels throughout various commercial environments:
  • Partitions of Office Cabins
  • Showroom Windows
  • Supermarket Front Panels
  • Building Facades
  • Workshops or Cafes (to partition serving counters and operations areas)
Important Consideration: Frosted film prints are designed for clear, fully transparent glass surfaces. They are not recommended for glass panels that are already tinted or dark in colour, as the printed images will not be clearly legible.

Simple Installation: Achieve a Professional Finish

Our self-adhesive frosted vinyl is straightforward to install. The key involves using a soapy water solution, which allows you to easily reposition the film until it is perfectly aligned before the adhesive bonds firmly. The simple 14-step process ensures a flawless application:
  1. Prepare a soapy water solution and thoroughly clean the glass surface.
  2. Wipe away any dust using a squeegee or clean cloth.
  3. Reapply the soapy water spray to the cleaned glass.
  4. Lay the print face down on the wet glass.
  5. Holding the print in place, carefully peel off the release liner to expose the strong adhesive.
  6. Spray the adhesive side generously with the soapy water.
  7. Flip the print over and begin the pasting process from a single corner or edge.
  8. Gently smooth the film onto the glass using a squeegee or cloth.
  9. Steadily press out any air bubbles or wrinkles.
  10. Squeegee out all remaining water from between the film and the glass.
  11. Wipe the front of the print dry.
  12. Allow the installation to set for a few hours, during which the water evaporates and the adhesive bonds firmly.
