Unlaminated SAV: The Budget ChampionThe unlaminated vinyl print is our most basic and vanilla variant (without any frills). It consists of a very high-resolution print on a large roll of coated plastic, featuring an adhesive back—hence, the name SAV (Self-Adhesive Vinyl). The unique selling proposition (USP) of this product is its low cost. If you are planning a short-term marketing campaign on a tight budget, this is the perfect choice, as you still receive a high-resolution print that performs admirably for brief periods despite the low price point.Laminated SAV: Built to LastOne step above our uncoated vinyl banners is the laminated print, offering superior durability and protection. Lamination is the process of adding an extra protective plastic top coat to the printed image, which significantly enhances its lifespan. This additional finishing option is offered for two crucial reasons: enhanced looks/appearance and maximum protection/longevity. Laminated vinyl banners are ideal for long-term use and provide excellent resistance against wear and tear, dust, and harsh weather.

Irrespective of the finish you choose, the price of both matte- and gloss-laminated film remains the same—delivering premium quality without the premium price tag.
Glossy Laminated Prints: Make Your Images Pop!
A shiny overcoat undeniably adds a punch to any visual collateral. Gloss lamination will dramatically enhance the look of photographs; for instance, a gloss overcoat on an image of a model showcasing premium jewellery will make the ornaments truly jump out. While glossy prints offer a striking visual impact, be aware of two potential shortcomings: reflection and visible scratches.
Matte Lamination: The Industry Standard for Clarity and Resilience
At our premises, a full 90% of all printed jobs are matte-laminated, and for good reason.
Reflection-Free Clarity: A matte coat does not alter the image in the slightest. This is crucial for posters with small fonts or detailed images (e.g., individual strands of hair), as these details are not obscured by the typical reflections of a glossy print.
Scratch Resilience: Although all prints are susceptible to daily wear and tear, scratches are very easy to spot on a gloss-laminated vinyl print. Conversely, these same scratches are less easily distinguishable on a matte overcoat, helping your print maintain a professional look for longer.
Recommendation: We coat all our prints with matte film by default due to these benefits. However, the final choice is yours, Dear Client, and the price for either finish remains the same. We recommend lamination for jobs deployed for longer periods or those exposed to the elements, such as rain or sunlight.
Simple Installation: Peel, Stick, and Impress!
Installing your vinyl print is incredibly simple. The print is pre-gummed, meaning it has a strong adhesive layer on its underside. Just peel the print off the release layer and stick it like any other sticker sheet.
For Large Prints: For larger applications, use a squeegee to gently remove air bubbles during application, ensuring a bubble- and wrinkle-free installation.
The 'Water-Pasting' Technique: Professional installers often use the ‘water-pasting’ method for large vinyl rolls (especially custom-printed wallpapers). This involves spraying water on the application surface, placing the printed vinyl, and using a squeegee to push the water out. This process removes air pockets and ensures the vinyl lies completely flat.
